Role and Responsibilities:

Ensure pre joining and periodical employee’s health monitoring to predict/avoid complication during exposure at work place.

Maintain all documentation related to health as per legal requirements. Ensure all equipments, first aid box, medicines are maintained at First aid room for any emergency.

Identify and provide health and first aid related training to employee and contract workforce, Practice effectiveness of the same during mock drills.

Tie up with surrounding industries and hospitals for emergency assistance and aid.

Investigate and manage any incidents that occur on-site and manage incident reporting procedure on site.

Identify and enforce safety system in employee/visitor work force by Induction, SOP safety review, near miss/accident communication, related training, inspection, work permit system etc in coordination with other department.

Monitor solid/Hazardous waste generation pattern and ensure proper segregation/storage/disposal/recycle at premises, Impart training/awareness for the same to involved employee.

Co ordination with 3rd party for half yearly environment monitoring.

Study and understand the chemical exposure from MSDS and ensure proper communication/training to each affected employee and contract work force.
