PROJECT :Aluminium Based Metal Matric Composite Material. ABSTRACT: To increase the strength of aluminium by adding the some other materials. The aim of this work is to study about the wear characteristics of Aluminium based composite reinforced with Silicon carbide, and Granite powder. The metal matrix composite will be prepared by Bottom pour stir casting process and wear performance will be analyzed on prepared Hybrid metal matrix composites. The wear analysis test is to be conducted by Pin on disc apparatus using various loads. Wear test are used to determine the wear resistance capacity of the material. Then the Rockwell hardness test as well as the optimization and drilling test were done on the prepared hybrid composite material.
