Design of Heat Exchanger
The objective of this project is to design a heat exchanger with flow rate of 50000 kg/d of ethyl benzene using cooling water at 30 C from 135 C to 40 C. The calculations were done in MS- Excel.
Study on production of Ammonia by Haber Process
The objective of this study is to understand the processes involved in production of Ammonia and to calculate material and energy balances assuming a production of 1200 Kg/hr of ammonia produced.
Design and simulate a process for the production of ethylene oxide The objective of this project is to design a process for the production of ethylene oxide. Aspen Hysys is used for simulation of our project. The feed contains ethylene gas and oxygen gas as reactants.
Adsorption Study of Methylene Blue on Coconut Char Adsorption isotherms and kinetic study of methylene blue adsorption on char, prepared from coconut shell by pyrolysis and activated carbon from Charcoal were conducted and compared. It was concluded that coconut char acted as a better adsorbent than activated carbon from charcoal.
Design, Construction and Testing of Continuous Tubular Reactor for Aqueous Phase Reforming A PFR for Aqueous Phase Reforming was designed in Aspen Hysys, material required were procured and assembled, which followed leak test, flow rate calibration were done.
Study on Production of Acrylic Acid From Glycerol This study mainly addresses possible reaction pathways for production of acrylic acid, catalyst preparation and various literature reviews.
