EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES:

BE project on “EXPERIMENTAL INVESTIGATION OF HARD TURNING OPERATION UNDER DRY AND COMPRESSED AIR COOLING CONDITIONS”.

In present work hard turning experiment were perform on bearing steel having hardness 62 HRC using PCBN tool. Experiment we carried out on CNC machine with an objective to evaluate comparative performance of hard turning under certain condition and compressed air as a cooling medium. Turning operation is evaluated in terms of three components of cutting force and surface roughness by varying cutting speed, feed and depth of cut in wide range of cutting conditions. It is observed that hard turning using compressed air as coolant produced better performance in terms of lower cutting forces and better surface finish.

Participated in TATA STEEL E-learning and certification course and completed Bulk Materlial Handling course, Measuring Instrument course, TQM and basic knowledge about Bearing.
