• Successfully executed more than 20 BS6/Trem4 exhaust systems and Tractors for Mahindra & Mahindra.

• Initial and Conceptual study on requirement of vehicle and vehicle parameters for design and development of exhaust systems.

• Vehicle level review with customer for exhaust system are studied like approach angle, ground clearance and safety critical clearance with nearby aggregates. Packaging issue sorting with new ideas with minimal changes on the layout.

• VAVE - Communization of flanges, brackets, cones, muffler cross sections, etc., across the different programs thereby reducing the tooling cost.

• Cone design and optimization for Uniformity Index (UI) achievement. Heat shield Design and Hanger rod Design.

• Design review with other cross functional teams

• Creation of Bill of Materials (BOM) & releasing of the specifications for parts procurement. Preparation of assembly and child parts drawings for manufacturing and Feasibility review with industrialization team

• Applying proper GD&T as per ASME Y14.5M for required features in both child part and assembly level drawings.

• Preparing 1D Tolerance stack up analysis (worst case method) for assembly layout to evaluate proper fittings.

• Analysis of CFD & FEA test reports and optimization of design comparison to identify best fit solutions.

• Developed parametric CAD model from 3D scan data for reverse engineering the physical part. SKILLS

• Successfully developed Hot end Diesel 1.5L (LNT + DPF), Diesel 2.5L (LNT + DPF) & P602/P625 (TWC+ GPF).
