AWARDS

Allison Woodbury Fishing Award

This award is confusing by the name but it’s pretty simple. I volunteer at a camp with kids with cancer called Camp Quality. This award is given to a camper every year for having outstanding character. At 16 I could see outside myself and look for the good in others. This continues in my day to day life with co-workers and everyday interactions.

Forensics 2nd and 6th Place

I used to do competitive speech in high school speaking on subjects of foster care and cancer survivors and patients. I got second place at a conference of over 500 people who competed. The subject was ‘who has made an impact in your life and how?’ The 6th place came from a Forensics competition in Baldwin KS with over 60 people competing in my division.
