National Institute of Ocean Technology, Chennai — Project scientific assistant (August 2019 - Present)
• Involved in the preparation of drawings of mechanical equipments and assisted in verifying the Design submitted by the vendor for approval.
• Managed and supervised junior technicians and workers on erection of mechanical equipments executed at the sites of Low Temperature Thermal Desalination (LTTD) plants at Lakshadweep islands, India.
• Supervised and ensured the quality of butt fusion welding of HDPE pipes.
• Involved in FAT and SAT of flash chambers and condensers.
• Processed the submitted bills based on Contract Agreement and Tender Document.
Projects
• Low Temperature Thermal Desalination (LTTD) plant of capacity 0.15 MLD, Lakshadweep islands:
Setting up of low temperature thermal desalination plant with process plant components such as flash chamber, condenser, vacuum system, submarine HDPE pipe and marine structures.
• Efficycle
Designed and fabricated the energy efficient manual and electrically powered three wheeled vehicle and participated national level competition conducted by SAE India at LP University, Punjab
Designed the vehicle using AutoCAD and solidworks. Education
