PROJECTS

• BIODEGRADABLE POLYMER BLENDS (PLA&EVA) FOR PACKAGING APPLICATIONS at CIPET: IPT

PLA is the biodegradable material and EVA is the thermoplastic elastomer. These are blended with a different composition and produced a film for packaging applications which demonstrated biodegradability & eco-friendly nature but also excellent mechanical properties. This project could be beneficial to our environment due to its biodegradability property when exposed to soil.

INDUSTRIAL EXPOSURE

• IN-PLANT TRAINING:

1) ITC LIMITED – SBU packaging and printing, Chennai. 2) JK TYRES – manufacturing of tires, Chennai.

• WORKSHOP – Attended a workshop on “Biodegradation and Addition of Master Batch”

• INTERNSHIP – Completed 45 days internship as Production Assistant at Meridian Market Resources, Bengaluru.
