My principal role was the protection of registered civilian clientele in their private capacity. I was a frontline, rapid response, armed officer responding to various emergency scenes. Although working alone in an armed response vehicle, I was a pivotal piece in a larger network of armed response officers. Dealing with clientele in an emergency and having the responsibility of caring for people, in their time of need, was a humbling experience.
