● Waste Detection Using Sensor
Different sensors such as moisture, IR, Inductive Proximity, Ultrasonic have been used in order to segregate the waste efficiently. Sensing operation is done with the help of different to segregate the waste (wet, dry, metallic, plastic and paper) into their respective bins.
● Effective management of the waste using database and android application We have used a freeware software for data management. An android application has been developed which will be communicating using a bluetooth module. Bin levels and graphs monitoring can be done using the android application. The database will be updated on a weekly basis. Once the waste collected is 80% of bins full capacity emergency alert and a warning phone call will be received in the number fed in the system. And the bins will be emptied as per requirements.
