MY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:

Responsible for proper implementation of quality of work as per Standards & Specifications, approved WPS & PQR, applicable industry code of practice, ASME IX, B31.3, AWS D1.1 Approved QCP & ITP.

Review of WPS, PQR, Drawings & Specifications and inspection of piping materials, Identification as per ISO drawings & materials beforefabrication.

Rigorously monitoring sub-contractors and ensuring hold and witness points within Inspection and Test plans areimplemented.

Familiar with working within a BS EN ISO 9001 qualitysystem.

Compiling WPS, WPQR, WQR and witnessing welder qualificationtests.

Check engineering drawings to ensure that using right welding symbols & recommended weldingnotes.

Coordinate with client’s project inspection until for necessary project inspection for witnessing & hold point.

Prepare & check the quantity and quality of welding consumables to meet the requirements of each project.

Selecting joints for NDT as per requirements of standards and to be witness of all NDT inspections.

To interpret Radiographyfilms.

Secure that safety is come first, before starting of anyactivity.

Good knowledge in welding process- SMAW, SAW, FCAW, GMAW &GTAW.

Preparation of all inspection reports & QA/QC reports documentation as required by the company, client & As-BuiltDrawings.

EDUCATION QUALIFICATION:

Certified Welding Inspector – CSWIP 3.1 from TWI, UK, Customer ID –307397.

Degree in Mechanical engineering from jayam college of engineering and technology, Dharmapuri, under ANNA UNIVERSITY CHENNAI (2010-2014).
