Monitor the progress and the resources of the project. Check the monthly requisition and requirement of the project prior to the issuance of purchase order (PO) and approval of the President. Evaluate and recommend approval of the proposal of sub-contractor and suppliers. Client: Millennium Challenge Corporation (USA), Millennium Challenge Account- Phil’s. Main Project Features:

The Secondary National Roads Development Project (SNRDP) consist of four construction contract packages CP1, CP2, CP3 and CP4 for rehabilitation of 222 km of asphalt concrete pavement and PCCP in Region 8 of the Philippines, Samar and Eastern Samar provinces. The project is funded in a compact between MCC and the Government of the Republic of the Philippines. Construction Contract Package CP2 is the road rehabilitation from Brgy. Tinani, Paranas, Western Samar to Brgy. Del Remedio, Sulat, Eastern Samar starts at Sta. 843+500 to Sta. 907+281.82 with a total length of (63.78 km). The proposed rehabilitation works consist of the removal and replacement of existing deteriorated PCCP and ACP with 265 mm thick and 150 mm sub base covering a length of 40.70 km and unbonded PCCP overlay consisting 230 mm thick and 75 mm minimum aggregate base interlayer with a length of 8.00 km. The unbonded PCCP overlay is designed as new pavements considering the existing pavement as stiff layer. There are 28 landslide areas where slope stability measures are recommended including geotextile wrap around, micro piles, soil nailing, MSE walls, benching or combinations of these measures also, Replacement and Reconstruction of 5 Bridges and rehabilitation of 20 Existing Bridges.

Conducted joint site investigation, as-stake survey with the contractor of the entire contract, evaluate noted deviation/ discrepancy from the original plan and calculate the involve quantity, if not included in the original BOQ have it include in the preparation of as-staked. Assist in the preparation of variation orders, as-staked plans, as-built plans and other contract documentations. Evaluate/checked shop drawings and billings submittals of the contractor. Checked and review As- built plans and final quantities.
