PROJECTS

Assessment and optimization of blasted material (2020) Performed Fragmentation analysis of blasted size material using Wipfrag software. Modified blast design parameters and assessed explosive requirements for obtaining desired range of blasted size material (150-200 mm).

Minimized the generation of undersized blasted material by 30 % that has improvised recovery percentage of the ROM by 20 % and reduced overall blasting cost as well. Study of empirical relation for blast induced acceleration (2019) Proposed an empirical relation between peak particle velocity and acceleration of blast induced ground vibration through Instrumentation and analytical approach.

Correlated the data of Blastmate (PPV) and Blastware software (acceleration) through regression analysis. Assessment of blasting AOP(Air overpressure) (2018) Performed regression analysis to correlate the AOP and different blast design parameters. Obtained a set of blast design parameters which influence the prediction of AOP most. Proposed an empirical formula for AOP by multi variate regression analysis. Achievements/Tasks
