My tasks:

Position held: EMC Test Engineer.

Experience: 3 years working in EMC area, I started as Intern, after 3 months I was contracted as EMC Test Technician I stayed as EMC Test Technician by 1 year and 6 months after this, I climbed from position to EMC Test Engineer.

My tasks: execute the following test:

• Electrostatic Discharges (ESD).

• Electrical test.

• Transients test.

• Bulk Current Injection (BCI).

• Radiated Emissions (RE).

• Conducted Emissions (CE).

• Radiated Immunity (RI).

Responsibilities: I am process owner for technologies of the BCI (Bulk current injection) and RI (Radiated Immunity), as process owner, I must make sure that the technologies work properly, I program and execute the quality checks.

I have done training manuals for ESD test, RI and BCI test. When my colleagues have a lot of work I help them to carry out tests of Transients, Electrical test, Radiated Emissions and Conducted Emissions, as well as when problems with equipment/software arise, I help solve them.

40% of my time is spent doing tests, 30% I dedicate to reviewing that the team works correctly and 20% dedicate it to helping my colleagues and the remaining 10% I dedicate to review the test reports and I review the clients' test plan to see if the laboratory has the capacity to execute the tests they need, as well as I give feedback when it is necessary to improve the test plan.

In the last year and 3 months I have collaborated in 3 troubleshoot with hardware engineers.

I write test reports and in some cases I help my boss review the test reports of my colleagues.
