RESPONSIBILITIES:
Checking the project FEED documents and prepares pre bid clarification.
Attend the project Technical meeting and raising Technical Query.
System calculations and system design including electrical load flow, short circuit analysis and power system protection device co-ordination, Motor starting and re acceleration studies, Arc flash studies through ETAP.
Preparing the substation design (Subsation layout & Calculation).
Preparing the Electrical Deliverables of MV/LV SLD, cable schedule, load schedule, Lighting Plan, Grounding Plan, Hazardous area layout, Panel board schedule, cable routing, conduit & tray Plan, cable specification, MTO etc.
Preparing the Calculations of Cable sizing, Tray & conduit, Lighting lux,Grounding & Lightining System,Transformers, HV & LV switchgear, Generators & control panels, motors,MTC Sizing, Battery & Battery charger.
Preparing the Bill of materials of Electrical materials (raceway systems - cable, conduit, cable tray, gland, Lighting materials and bulk Materials etc.,)
Prepare the Equipment Specification & Data sheets of vendor equipment’s as per project specification and standards.
Vendor documents validating as per Project specification and standards. (Switch Gears & Control Gears, MV&LV Panels, Bus Bar, Bus duct system, Transformer, DG Set, MV & LV Cables, Motor, UPS, Battery & Battery charger, Heat Tracing system, Lighting System, etc.,)
Frequent visits and coordinate with long lead equipment vendor facility, follow-up the project schedule.
Basic knowledge in assisting in 3D modeling and participating model reviews.
Prepare the list of level of inspection in major vendor equipment’s and arrange the FAT schedule.
Prepare the FAT procedures and attend the FAT in vendor facilities with QC.
Coordination with different discipline like Process, Piping, structure, Performs complex technical tasks relative to the Design and coordination of specific disciplines.
Preparing the as - built drawing in construction changes as per project specification and standards.
Coordinate with procurement & Estimation to prepare Project techno commercial offers.
Coordination with Client for engineering document approval and vendor coordination for design implementation.
