I worked inside a Mary Kay lab where I help with assembling / reassembling the materials used for their cream and lotion products. This includes tasks such as twisting cap lids into the jar containers, putting the jar in the carton box, and into the packaging box to be taped and sent to a material handler, and etc. There's different stations so the tasks varies but this was my main tasks they had available.

Service Assistant

Position: As a service assistant for the restaurant, I work as a dishwasher and busser in rotating shifts. Working in a fast- paced environment while cleaning, restocking, and assisting customers by pointing them where things are such as the restroom, refreshments, utensils, etc.

As a dishwasher, my main task were to quickly yet efficiently wash dishes and utensils and restocking them back to the front where they belong.

As a busser, my tasks were mostly consisted of standing behind the busser counter waiting to either buss tables after the customer leaves or to assist customer's inquires. Then I'd be responsible for sweeping underneath the tables and floors. During closing nights for both stations I'd have to maintain and clean my work area and as a busser I would check and clean the restrooms.

Accomplishments: As a busser, I managed to do better dealing with customer concerns, requests with cleaning tables, as well as refilling accommodations such as the bread, jam, and coffee or utilities like utensils or refilling ice machine, etc. I learned dish-washing there is a fast-paced job and it taught me to be more focused at my work in order to get done within reasonable time shift. Position: I worked as housekeeper at a mall inside a food court cleaning and wiping tables, sweeping floors, and checking restrooms. I've used the scrubber machine and vacuumed rugged floors. Biggest accomplishments: Worked there for 6 months during the most stressful workplace conditions such as: dealing with bilingual supervisors, working while workplace was / were highly understaffed, and cleaning sections of food court all by myself with no help.

Accomplishments: I worked there for a year and learned a lot of skills as my 1st job training. Also, learned how to use machinery such as scrubber and buffer machines, tractor machines, the compactors, how to use different types of chemicals for cleaning and spills. I've worked very hard as an associate and would receive bonus pay with the team members, worked well as a team player with other associates and had no issues with managers.
