Project Name : HYDRODYNAMIC CAVITATION FOR THE PRODUCTION OF BIODIESEL FROM WASTE COOKING OIL

Role : Leader Team Size : 4 Project Duration : 3 Month Project Detail Produce future fuel like biodiesel by converting waste cooking oil into a eco- friendly fuel that can be used in our vehicle.

AIM

1.production of biodiesel in laboratory scale and the fabricated model and comparing the yield and quality of the product

2. Studying the effect of cavitatation of the symbol orifices used for fabrication 3.studying the effect of contact time of esterification process and the yield of bio

-diesel after the constant contact time for transesterification 4. Feed ratio variation in the feed mixture and catalyst intake effects are studying by feeding with different ratios and amount of catalyst 5. Studying the effect of biodiesel yield when methanol from the esterification is recycled for the trans-esterification

6. Characterizing the biodesel and analysing it's quality by using ASTM standard Duty and Responsibility in Project
