Dear Sir or Madame,
Please accept this letter and the attached resumé as an application for a position with your pharmacy. My objective is to find part-time or full-time work, with extra hours during school breaks (such as Christmas and summer vacation). I am fully bilingual in French and English. I am currently a university student at the University of Toronto Mississauga with a consistently strong academic performance, especially in sciences and mathematics, and active participation in extracurricular activities. I have been employed at Jean Coutu, where I learnt data entry, compounding, counting medication, working with insurances, and much more pharmacy related skills. Additionally, I have worked in guest services at Calypso Theme Waterpark, as a nanny for young children, and as a karate instructor for the Embrun Family Karate Club. My participation in the sport of karate allowed me to volunteer as an instructor for students of all ages, while still improving my own skills and representing Canada at various international competitions. It also reinforced my adaptability, discipline, and focus, while allowing me to work as part of a team as well as individually.
If you would be interested in meeting with me to discuss any available opportunities, please contact me at the above phone number or email. I look forward to hearing from you. Sincerely,
Caylie Castonguay
