● Primary duties include performing phlebotomy in a clinical/hospital setting using needle (straight, syringe, butterfly) and Vacutainer system, as well as capillary punctures, with standard order of draw procedures, on patients of all ages. Other duties include assisting the CLS staff with specimen preparation

(i.e., centrifuging blood specimens, aliquoting blood and urine specimens for send-outs, etc.), as well as front office duties (registration, check in, results release, etc.) AMERICAN RED CROSS DONOR SERVICES TECHNICIAN JUNE 2017 – SEPTEMBER 2018

● Primary duties include performing phlebotomy in a blood collection facility, as well as on mobile blood drives, using standard whole blood donation procedures.
