August 20,2017: Started full time at Johnston Health as a Medical Records Analyst my duties include: Prepping loose records, scanning the batches then Indexing them into Sovera. I QC all work in Epic and QA the records that were modified.

September 2017: I received my degree in Electronic Health Records from Ashworth.

October 2016: I completed a continuing education course at Johnston Community College for Conversational Spanish.

I volunteered for the SECU Hospice House in Smithfield from 11/2016 to 1/2018. My Administrative duties were to greet and provide information and directions to incoming patients and visitors. I was responsible for making copies, purging records and updating patient lists. I also covered the switchboard for the receptionist as needed. For my Direct Patient/Family Care duties I was responsible for providing ice, snacks and beverages to patients as well as emotional and bereavement support. My In-Direct Care duties were to tidy the common areas, restock kitchen supplies, make fresh coffee for families and staff, water plants, refill bird feeders and serve dinner to families on Sundays.

I have volunteered for Harbor's Pizazz resale shop documenting store donations, Work First, Yes I Can programs and community service hours.

I have also volunteered in my children's classrooms for 15 years. I worked in the front office answering telephone calls while assisting visitors, chaperoning field trips, proctoring state exams, and teaching a literacy group on Tuesdays.
