TITLE: “Phase Calibration 0f 445 MHz atmospheric wind profiling radar.”

Role: Team member

Project description: The phased array antenna is a directive antenna made up of individual radiating antennas or elements which generate a radiation pattern whose shape and direction is determined by the relative phases and amplitudes of the currents at the individual elements. Here using electronic steering rather than mechanical steering because of its flexibility and it typically defines as changing the direction of main lobe of radiation pattern. Calibration is a process in which phase and amplitude deviations are measured and errors are computed and nullified. This work is developed in NARL (National Atmospheric Research Laboratory).
