Conduct Testing (Cold & Live Test for lighting & small power) to ensure equipment’s and devices are in accordance with the project specifications and within the acceptable standards and it can be operated in a reliable and safe manner.

Attend SMDB & FDB Commissioning Inspection with the consultant and obtain the approval.

Ensure electrical installations are implemented properly in accordance with the project specifications and the local regulations.

Prepare checklist, verification report and update the Electrical Equipment Tracker daily.

Conduct surveillance, material inspection and work inspection for Electrical System such as Power, Lighting, Lighting Control, Earthing and Bonding, Fire Alarm and Public Address.

Conduct surveillance, material inspection and work inspection for Special System such as Door Access, CCTV, IT, WIFI, TETRA, FIDS and CUPPS.

Attend daily progress meeting with the construction team to discuss incomplete installation, poor workmanship and problems encountered at site during inspection.

Ensure provision for Life Safety, Fire Alarm System, Smoke Control & Ventilation Systems are placed properly in accordance with QCD Regulations and make sure electrical installations for power are compliance with Kharamaa.

Attend the inspection with Civil Defense Authority. Note down the comments and rectify immediately to obtain approval.

Review electrical plan, project specifications, method statement, material submittals and shop drawing.

Raise RFI to project consultant for the observed design and technical discrepancies.

Prepare material takeoff and bill of quantity and reconcile with the client for the progress billing.
