JOB DISCRIPTION:
Read and interpreted drawings, blueprints and specifications to determine layout requirements
Replaced old spool with newly fabricated spool and fabricate new spool on carbon steel, chrome alloy and stainless steel material.
Fixed damaged valves or send them to maintenance department for repairs
Checked and replaced pressure gauges and sent them for re-calibration.
Removed control valves for calibration using temporary spool line
Joined additional tie in joints by cold cuttings or big bore piping for cleaning before cutting new tie in joints
Isolated pressure vessels and heat exchangers for repairs or for the rerouting of pipe systems using fabricated spools
Attended to tool box meetings and talks on safety, job distribution for maintenance work shut downs, dismantling of piping spool of equipment to be dismantled.
Replaced damaged pipe to clean drain and reroute new installation for draining system
Welded, cemented, and brazed and soldered pipes to fabricate sections of piping systems
Cut pups into various lengths with chisel, hammer or oxyacetylene torch or pipe cutting machines.
Threaded pipes with stocks and dyes
