Details and responsibilities

• Managing and organizing all activities on site. Requisition of materials after careful taking-off quantities.

• Site engineer- Interpretation of the working drawings and ensuring all the works are in accordance with their specifications.

• Supervision – Repeatedly checking the works being carried out and ensuring they are in accordance with the building conduct. Material and any other equipment on the site are of the required quality.

• Organization of internal meetings – Foremen, Clerk of Works and Sub- constructors regularly meet to discuss work progress and any other arising issues.

• Working in close contact with the architect, all the engineers, Clerk of Works and any other board of workers on site to ensure revisions and changes are well documented and executed.

• Safety – Ensuring that all persons on site are well equipped according to the safety regulations, first aid kits and any other necessary safety measures are in place before commencement of any work.
