PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

MAY 2020 –PRESENT

Embedded Systems Engineer, Dimitri’s Coffee Roasting Facility, Amman, Jordan

— Design and develop prototypes of wireless sensor nodes to establish a wireless sensor network gathering data from hundreds of sensors.

— Develop layouts and schematics for multiple layers, PCB designs.

— Writing algorithms to parse, visualize, and analyze the data gathered from the sensor nodes.

— Using the data for predictive maintenance and remote monitoring of multiple devices and parameters involved in the coffee-making process.

June 2019 –August 2019

Research Assistant, Manipal Institute of Technology, Karnataka, Mangalore I worked with a team of graduate students under the supervision of the Electrical Engineering faculty at Manipal Institute of Technology on simulating a battery management system and a fast-charging station for electric vehicle applications. The experience helped shape my understanding of cell balancing, state of charge estimation, thermal and electrical limitations of the battery management system.

Show Coordinator, Naqsh initiative, Amman, Jordan

In Naqsh we wanted to build a social enterprise focused on making K-12 school students fall in love with science, through presenting it in an enthralling and engaging way, and in the past two years we wrote, produced, filmed, and published online 3 science shows, did more than 12 live performances of our science shows around the country, we edited, designed, and published 3 science booklets filled with stories, puzzles, and instructions for science and technology experiments kids can do at home.
