Neuroscience App Fall 2020 – Spring 2021

Developing an app that uses essential filters and permissions using Android Studio

• Designed the user interface with Adobe XD.

• Back end was written in Java and front end in XML.

• Team oriented app project that used the Scrum Agile model life cycle.

• 2-3 week sprints were used to develop the app.

• Used Trello for team organization and to check status of the app project.

• Used GitHub as our version control system.

The app gives the option to take a picture or record live audio. Once a user chooses an option, they can then process the image or audio file the user captured to convert and filter through an ICA algorithm. Once it is done processing it then shows the results of ICA filters for images and sound waves for the audio files. The results represent receptive field filters our brain would produce if they had evolved using efficient coding algorithms. Food Menu App Summer 2020

Developed a food menu app using Android Studio

• Designed the user interface on Adobe XD.

• Developed back end using Java and front end in XML.

• Implemented a login authentication using Google’s Firebase.

• Worked as a team using GitHub to share files and code.

• Team oriented project which consisted in using the Waterfall model life cycle. The app consists of logging in with user credentials which is connected with Firebase. Once the user is logged in, the app gives the user four main options to choose from such as Burgers, Sandwiches, Salads, and Drinks. If a user chooses the Burger option, then the app will display a burger menu with different types of burgers to select from. Similarly, the other options do the same but with its appropriate category options and sums up total. LEADERSHIP EXPERIENCE

• Help train new employees and customer service.

• In charge of counting the daily register tills and responsible for closing the bakery.

• In charge for depositing the daily deposit at the end of the day.
