My name's Gerald Ford. I started construction work at age 14 doing concrete work with my dad. Age 15 I went to work at a local pizzaria. My 1st payroll construction job was at age 17, 1999 junior year of school summer break, I went to work for Yates & Son's construction. After graduating, I went back to work for them and worked off and on until 2011. I became certified to operate backhoes, forklifts, boom lifts, scissor lifts, mini excavators, trackhoes, frontend loaders, skid steers, street sweeper and a roller presses. I am also proficient in how to read prints, shoot elevation, set points, run string lines and layout building, dig footers, tie steel, set forms, pour and finish concrete, masonry work and speak Spanish. I'm a 37 year old father of 3. I do have a past, but that's also exactly where I left it. I simply want a chance to make a decent living honestly, working next to people who don't judge because of race, creed, religion or choice of music. I only want to work with people who push each other to become better and achieve greater. Please give me that chance.
