University of Cincinnati Cancer Center Clinical Trials Office Cincinnati, OH January 2020 - Present Senior Laboratory Assistant

• Lead in training junior lab staff on protocols and laboratory procedures

• Utilize proper lab techniques to perform protocols such as peripheral blood mononuclear cell isolation and plasma/serum extraction

• Process blood samples for 11 investigator-initiated clinical trials and 6 industry trials outsourced from pharmaceutical companies such as Covance, ICON Central Labs, and Q2 Solutions

• Perform experiments on the head and neck cancer trial HN-17-01, where patients receive the immunotherapeutic PD-1 inhibitor, nivolumab. This experiment uses the IsoLight by IsoPlexis, a machine that performs single-cell cytokine analysis, to measure CD-8 T cell response

• Draft and report standard operating procedures for new clinical trials
