• Set-up and calibrate equipment, conduct tests with appropriate NDT method.

• Perform Visual Inspection, Penetrant Inspection and Magnetic Particles Inspection on piping, plates, vessels, or any tools or components requested to inspect Surface discontinuities and cracks

• Manage In-Process inspection of Line Pipes covering the stage wise survey such as Monitoring Welding and Heat Treatment, Hydrostatic Test, Manual Ultrasonic Thickness Test of Pipelines and above ground tanks, Real Time Radiography (RTR), Film Developing and Radiographic Testing Film Interpretation (RTFI).

• Perform servicing and calibration of Breather Valve, Pressure Gauge, Pressure Safety Valve etc.

• Ensure equipment testing and re-calibration is kept up-to-date.

• Observe all safety rules and regulations at all times and ensure testing component is maintained good.

• Interpret and evaluate test results according to client specifications or codes and standards and Produce detailed reports of inspections, clearly identifying the scope and any defects or inconsistencies found. QA/QC ENGINEER 02/2021 – 04/2021

• Physical check of the piping, instruments, equipment's with respect to the P & ID (Piping & Instrumentation Diagram), PFD (Process Flow Diagram), MFD (Material Flow Diagram), Isometric drawings and GAD (General Arrangement Drawing) and PMS (Pipe material specification).

• Identify areas of special concern and deterioration (e.g., dead logs, injection points, buried piping, corrosion under insulation (CUI), erosion and corrosion/erosion) and preparation of inspection procedures to follow-up their resolution to improve pipeline integrity.

• Manage welding activities and fabrication stage inspection as well as NDE selection, monitoring & interpretation.

• Prepare WPS and conduct PQR & Welding Procedure Qualification Test (WPQT) as per ASME Section IX.

• Exposure to Product Chemical analysis by Spectrometer, Mechanical Tests such as Tensile test, Bend test, Hardness test, Charpy Impact Test, Drop Weight Tear Test, Nick Break Test & Macro analysis. PROFESSIONAL SKILLS
