WORK EXPERIENCE:

Owens & Minor: August 2017 to present

FSL MIT/IT

MIT (Mobile Inventory Tech)

Deliver and pick up surgical kits for hospitals, surgical centers and representatives homes. Pull orders via iTraycer and JDA systems that are confirmed by Control Tower (customer relations). Orders are relayed to drivers through OnTime 360 app on work cellphones which contain our work instructions for delivery times, pick up locations and addresses. This also allows the input of any changes to be sent back to Control Tower for future reference of locations at delivery sites that may have changed since previous deliveries or pickups.

IT (Instrument Tech)

Inspection and 2nd Audit of incoming kits from driver pickups and/or FedEx, UPS deliveries. Inspections consist of pulling a BOM (Build of Materials) using iTracyer Receiver system to confirm all parts need for a complete kit are currently in the kit. All items are checked one at a time to confirm functionality and correct quantity. All Non-conforming items are pull and noted on BOM in iTracyer Receiver which in turn sends corrected information to iTracyer in order for Control Tower and Reps to see when needing to order specific kits for surgeries. Receive in components from FedEx /UPS shipments to be put back into safety stock for replenishment of incomplete kits.

Other duties include working with Control Tower on driver routes for the following business day by corresponding with the Manager on routing delivery times along with any pickups that could be handled while in delivery area to cut down on back tracking in order to make for an efficient daily route. When requested travel to help out at other FSL facilities.

Warehouse Associate LSA (Logistic Supply Associate)

Use SAP system to keep track of JIT line deliveries and request HOT parts required for assembly line to continue to run without stopping. Perform daily/monthly cycle counts to insure all materials and parts are line side for completion of vehicles. HOT parts, Bulk and Sequence train driver. Load and deliver parts to assembly line. Use of wrist or hand held scanner to ensure correct parts are delivered to correct line locations.

Owens & Minor - Kings Mtn, NC - August 2008 to June 2015

Order filler:

Pull orders for various hospitals, label with correct paper work (placard and pallet contents list) and stage at dock doors to be verified, shrunk wrapped and loaded. On Wednesdays and Fridays I separate the Patient- Charge labels to be put on orders for Springs Hospital. At the end of shift I assist with verifying pallets and completing final paper work for the out-going trucks.

Specialist in the L.U.M (lower unit of measure) department:

I assist in releasing and assigning orders, staging completed orders on pallets with accompanying complete paper work. Other duties include printing Case Cart booking numbers and sending backorder emails pertaining to our case cart orders. I also help with training of new teammates in the L.U.M department to ensure they have the correct knowledge of the department and processes in which we operate. Review all error reports for our department and go over errors with teammates so that they understand why it was an error and what can be done in order to prevent it.

My current position is Purchasing Coordinator:

These duties include researching, reporting and filing all receiving discrepancies concerning shortages, overages, damaged and damaged/refused product. In doing this I report directly to the Receiving Manager and all vendors that these discrepancies pertain to. Follow up email or phone calls are also made in regards to RGA (Return Goods Authorization) for call-tags or Third Party shipping information to be sent in order for unneeded product to be shipped back to vendor. Vendor contact includes too requests for packing-slips, expected back-order shipping dates, correct item number for replacement or substituted product. Contact with the buyers for our Distribution Center is also done on adaily bases and includes researching open Purchasing Orders, items reportedly shipped by vendor including tracking information and occasional location counts for product that are in need of researching to confirm correct inventory counts. I am a member of our Safety Team and was also on our Team-mate Committee to research and submit companies to take on our plastic recycling project and to look into any climate control issues for our building. I have attended Round-table talks with our GM concerning any team-mate issues and- or suggestions for implements to be considered to our DC. Classes offered at our Home Office in Virginia were also taken to help improve my knowledge and flexibility as an Owens & Minor team-mate.

First Choice Armor - Spindale, NC - October 2006 to August 2008

Order filler/Inventory Control – Materials Manager:

Pull orders to be taken to sewing floor or cutting room for Body armor to be cut and sewn.

Inventory Control / Materials Handling Manager:

My duties consist of printing orders to be pulled and staged, conduct a monthly inventory and do spreadsheet reports that are turned in to the financial supervisor. Keep track of materials that are in-coming and those that are being shipped out to other contractors. Produce packing slips and keep constant records of any used and slow moving materials. I am also certified for a sit down fork lift.

Wal-Mart DC 6070 - Shelby, NC - June 2002 to February 2006

Order Puller:

Pull orders to be sent to shipping or super put area of department using pre-printed labels. Train new employees to the proper use of power equipment and freight handling in the area. Do complete power equipment training from viewing of videos to hands-on use up to and receiving license of power equipment. I was also designated to load and unload trucks at an off-site warehouse used to store seasonal, over stocked freight, and disaster relief freight to be shipped to areas in need of help during natural disasters. I volunteered or was asked to go off-site to other DCs to help with the training of new employees at the startup of new centers and to help when orders are backed up. I am certified for the following equipment, Tugger, Sit down forklift, RR, RC, Clamp, PE (double and triple long forks), and Stock picker.

Sara Lee Intimate Apparel - Kings Mtn, NC - April 1999 to May 2002

Order filler:

Pull orders to be labeled and packaged using an RF scanner and Stock picker. I also went between the two (2) Kings Mtn. sites using the company van to bring orders from one site to the other as needed.

I am certified on the following equipment, Stock picker, RR, RC, PE and Sit down forklift.

Prilliman Chemicals - Charlotte, NC - February 1996 to March 1999

Back up Supervisor/Material Handler

Load and unload trucks of raw and processed chemicals. Supply on site plants with raw materials and empty containers, while removing, storing and shipping out all processed chemicals.

Back up Supervisor: Keep track of inventory in all four (4) warehouses including an outside Flammable storage warehouse. Order any needed raw materials, or empty drums, pallets or other materials to keep the warehouse and plants with a steady supply of goods without running out or getting too low.
