Duties and Responsibilities:

General Job Description

Set-up and Installation of audio-visual, PA, security and building management systems

Electrical wiring and cabling of new unit

Operates and troubleshooting lighting mixing board and sound mixing console.

Do repair and troubleshoot in audio video products, CCTV and security products and other related electronics products.

Attend service call on scheduled basis and emergency situations.

Handle Crestron, London Architect and Philips strand lighting basic programming. Operate and create Daktronics show control.

Do testing and troubleshooting computer and video presentations, set-up Tandberg & Polycom video conference set-up. System integration (Crestron,AMX, Polycom & Extron products).

Onsite Support

In-charge as AV technician on-site PPM and on-site support as scope of work doing preventive maintenance AV system / Daktronics scoreboard / PA system / Broadcast system / diagnose and resolving all AV break down calls / nexus digital signage array screens / Philips Strands lighting/ Daktronics LED screen/resolving all first level programming issue of Media matrix, Crestron and evertz processors. Provide first level support for classes

Setup and teardown of portable Audio-visual equipment, troubleshooting of Audio-visual system, and other Audio-visual support related activities.

Evaluate the whole systems on a regular basis and identify situations that may cause potential problems. Resolving problems based on action plan.

Weekly testing to check the status of Audio-visual equipment like Projector filters, lamp hours, lapel batteries etc.

Daily testing to make sure the Audio-visual systems (in meeting rooms, classrooms, and Lecture halls) are fully functioning.

Monitor status of networked equipment; provide diagnostic for immediate repair.

Help in relabeling wires in all Audio-visual racks.

Help in organizing and maintaining inventory of Audio-visual Check out equipment.

Instruct users on the proper and safe usage of all Audio-visual equipment.

Provide training and orientation new joiner staff

Workshop Duty

Assigned as workshop technician responsible of receiving and releasing repaired unit and maintained report and document.

Do Diagnostic of all AV and electronic products.

Do repair and troubleshoot in audio video products, LED, LCD, CCTV, UPS and security products.

Work and follow-up with Audio-visual supplier/manufacturer/service provider on maintenance and repair issues.
