JOB RESPONSIBILITY

Scope study and analysis of Job requirements as per Project Specification.

Review of Welding procedure qualification (WPS) and Procedure qualification record (PQR) as per project specification

Organize, implement, conduct and manage the QA/QC Programs as per the Company’s Quality Policy.

Inspection of all the incoming materials.

To perform the visual welding inspection of steel structures, spools and pipes.

To verify the product conformity as per project specification. Monitor the stage (in-process) inspection of steels structure fabrications at contractor’s fabrication premises and verify the product conformity as per project specs and international codes/standards.

Inspecting of fit-up and dimensional inspections as per Drawings.

Supervision and inspection Pre-heat and Post Weld Heat Treatments.

Preparation of daily inspection reports.

Co-ordination with client for daily inspections.

Maintain and update day to day activities to the Manager.

To conduct the Welder qualification tests (WQT) and qualifies the welders according to the international codes/standards.
