Electrohydrodynamic (EHD) Drying Research:

Independent Research Student, Mechanical Engineering Department, Grove City, PA 2019 – 2020

Evaluated different areas of the EHD system to identify the cause of consistent experimental run failure, developing troubleshooting skills.

Redesigned the data acquisition network (DAN) for a more concise circuitry network to eliminate the issues causing experimental failure.

Constructed a new circuit board to control the various sensors associated with the DAN and repaired wired connections between circuit board and sensor ports.

Developed precise documentation and circuit diagrams for ease of use and understanding for others.

3D Modeling Engineering Project:

Placed in a random group of four, students were challenged to work as a team to design an item in Creo Parametric that was to be given to prospective engineering students, while meeting specific requirements.

Created the front and back plates of our item using a snap together design to fit the plates together, as well as assembled the entire groups parts into one assembly file with minor editing.

3D printed a prototype of our object and presented to the other groups and professor about our choice of design, methodology of creation, and improvements that could be made to improve the final product.
