Project Description:

The Card member posting and billing supports in managing the transactions and extracting. Information for reports. The Card member Posting and Billing runs different types of jobs viz., transaction activity, daily activity, weekly activity and monthly activity in order to support.

Responsibilities:

Particiapte in PI meetings and write user stories or help product owners to write user stories.

Working in the agile methodology, following agile norms on day to day basis.

Prepare Technical design documents for development/modifications base on the DR (Draft Requirement)

Developing new programs and jobs in mainframe using COBOL, JCL, VSAM, and DB2.Developing online screens and Maps in CICS.

Estimating the number of Sprints needed for the requriment to be completed to Business.

Coding and unit testing the changes. Moving the code changes to the system testing environment.

Strong working experience in different database environments like IBM DB2 and Oracle.

Providing 24x7 on call support for the Production environment

Providing hot fixes for cobol program abends, JCL erros, online transcation processing issues and online data processing during the down time and ABEND resolution for the issue within the system and running adhoc process to fix the issues.

Fixing database issues(DB2) in case of new program implementation.

Making sure issues are fixed within the SLA timeline.

Was involved in documentation of Low level Design preparation, Impact Analysis, Coding, and Unit Testing.

Creation of DB2 database for testing purposes in accordance with the original database and updating the database with the required values for testing purpose

Was also involved in PROC, JCL preparations for all four regions i.e. Testing, & Production.

Was also involved in Defect Analysis and Tracking part of the project.

Had been complied with all standard documentation's as per CMMI level 5 compliance of the project.
