Visited Thailand ZF Plant, to study the processes and line set up to implement in Chennai Green field project Producing axles for BMW cars. Organize the Team to optimistically exceed the Key Business Metrics assigned in the area Production and Cross Functional activities. Facilitate the Team to support the targets assigned in Productivity & process limprovement and Cost reduction aspects

Roles and Responsibilities

●Line optimization as per the customer requirements

●Jigs/fixtures validation support for new model launch & existing improvements

●Responsible for the process related supplier assignment & follow up

●Process support as well as document for new model launch

●Involved & Excicutive the cost reduction assignment

●Update all the relevant documents including SOP for Assembly Process.

●Co-ordination with Cross Functional Departments for resolution of Quality issues

●Ensure Day to day delivery with respect to FTQ of production schedules.

●Practice the Work Balancing Opportunities in order to improve the Productivity.

●Ensure the Axles are built with respect to Engineering Specifications.

●Perform periodic Internal Quality Audits and Evaluate the Corrective actions.

●Review the Rejected parts for Cause and Containment and to reduce Scrap Cost.

●Evaluate and Implement the Kaizens, Error Proofing and Waste Elimination activities.
