Professional Experience:

*. Worked as Executive in RANE NSK Steering Systems Pvt. Ltd. In Guduvancherry, Chennai from October 2007 – March 2008.

Responsibilities:

Handling Customer queries about the Products will be inform the same to Enginnering dept. to issue ECN. Monthly and Yearly Production Planning schedule will be provided to all departments as per the Customer requirement.

Reducing the inventory level at FG stock area.

Dispatching the finished goods and tracking whether the Products have been reached at Customer end.

Worked in SAP environment in Sales and Distribution Segment. Creating Sale order, Invoices and Part number for New Products are the regular work schedule.

2. Working as Assistant Manager-Rotating &Static Equipment in Product Engineering & Development Dept. for FLSmidth Pvt. Ltd., Kelambakkam, Chennai from April 2008-Present.

Responsibilities:

Order handling for Vertical mills and rotating equipment’s (industrial fans) for Global and Domestic projects according to the Customer needs and releasing the ER for the equipments as per the planning schedule made by the Project management dept.

Creating proposals by reviewing the customer tenders and preparing data sheets for all types of Industrial fans. Specification and GA drawing for vendor fans will be reviewed.

Involved in Mechanical troubleshooting and Installation & erection of various fans at the Customer site in various cement plants.

Designing 3D models for all types of fan in Solidworks. Also working in AutoCAD.

Working in ERP platform (ORACLE based environment) to create the part number, BOM and assembly structure for various types of fans and mills. Also preparing the partslist and creating Engineering requisition for the products.

Supported in the product development for Double suction industrial fans used for critical process in cement industry and Airslide fans for material conveying. Load and design calculations for GA drawings.

Involved in Value engineering activities in the concept of reducing the cost of direct coupled industrial fans and successfully implemented in various projects.

Achievements:

Standardized the design and BOM for Direct coupled fans which have reduced the time consumption for ordering the equipment’s.

Member in a supply chain management team for finding the local sourcing for manufacturing the fans to an optimized cost and promised quality.

Developed design ideas through Value engineering activities which are cost efficient and successfully implemented in various customers site around global and domestic.

Developed the engineers and their skillset to achieve the maximum output within the allocated time.
