JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

To receive, inspect and store materials and deliver to applicable personnel on the project according to the project schedule and coordinated with Quality Control and Procurement Departments.

To manage overall functions of the warehouse operations including the implementation of work instructions and systems.

To manage periodic store inspections and audits including management reporting in accordance with Company policies and procedures.

Review, verify and update project materials, specifically those for call-out scope.

Study new contract specification and determine material type, classification and grade in accordance with international standards.

Prepare MTO by reviewing an engineering drawing to finalize the BOQ in order to send RFQ to get the quotation from the Local/International suppliers to proceed with procurement.

Carry out all planned site inspection as per the intervention points marked in the relevant ITP.

Making sure that any activity offered for inspection has an approved shop drawing,method statement, Quality control procedure and Inspection test plan.

Inspecting the material while binning and issuing with respect to its technical specifications.

Raw material identification and correlation of mill marking with MTC.

Verifying the document of Inspection, testing and certification of pressure safety valves.

To inspect the materials against PO Text requirements and verify the physical condition of the item and prepare report on discrepancy found.

To obtain required specifications, codes, standards or other Engineering Documents required carrying out the Inspection.

Report item wise visual, dimensional, quantities in the Inspection report with clear status identified.

To verify the Inspection Documents and suggest the acceptability as per nature of items.

Review and recommend to carry out Preservation based on material Physical condition & requirement.

Responsible for the preparation and process purchase orders and documents in accordance with company policies and procedures.

To ensure the availability of minimum stock of regular materials.

To ensure the consistent supply of materials to the project.

To ensure the inventory is held at minimum levels to reduce storage costs.

To ensure the traceability of project materials in accordance with the BOQ / Drawing.

Follow up with freight forwarding contractors on timely shipment of air freight, sea freight status and delivery position of materials.

Keeping track on Material Receipt (MR) and Material Issue (MI) with proper documentation, in accordance with ERP stock.

Exposure in Maintain Materials storage, locations, FIFO as per requirements.

Selection of appropriate supplier and negotiating with supplier and strong knowledge in new supplier searching Create adequate source & Supplier identification.

Collecting quotations from various vendors and negotiating the prices and other terms & conditions.

Raising the purchase order and sending to the vendor through e-mail.

Follow up the material vigorously with the suppliers to ensure the dispatch on time for production.

Interaction with, Finance& Accounts Department release the payment to the vendors as per supply terms.

In case if any rejection materials from stores interaction with quality control department get the report and send back to the vendors

Ensure the safe and on-time delivery of good to meet the project construction and installation schedule.

Requesting the materials from Client as per drawing requirement and delivering to site on priority basis

Supervise Material coordinators and coordinate their daily activities.

Provide orientation, training and assistance to Subordinates in their daily tasks.

Responsible for reviewing, updating and proposing warehouse upgrades and modifications.

To be responsible for material management (including tools and Lifting equipment), the receiving, check, recording and traceability of all material and certificates.

To work closely with contractor to improve all aspects of material, tools and lifting activities.

To manage information relevant to arrival of materials at site in line with project schedule and anticipate any shortage, delay issues for offshore deliveries by taking acts with any actors on the transverse flow (Procurement, Freight Forwarding, Warehouse Receipt team, QC inspector).

To initiate for re-certification, re-calibration, test for specific equipment (pressure gauges, valves) by Third party/Vendor.

Prepares statistical and information reports on material coordination and warehouse activities.

Arrange and segregate materials in their corresponding location.

Segregating the spare parts & maintenance tools, conducting inspection with client and hand over to end user.
