Saftey Systems PCB designer UCR Formula SAE team, Riverside, CA 09/2017 10/2018 A student run formula car build and design club

Improved the old security shutdown PCB design on Altium to be more reliable and constant shut down system.

Made small PCB pin converters on Eagle CAD, that were later sold to the IEEE club, to generate revenue for the club.

Tested the newer PCB design to make sure that the Binary Junction Transistors (BJTs) were constantly working in our design and made sure that the whole car would shut down in under .1sec when any component of the car lost power. Used concurrent programing (C++/ pthreads) to help lower the run time of computer graphic simulations that were created by the professor. GPU Architecture Research Assistant UCR, Riverside, CA 2/2020 4/2020 Research with Prof Daniel Wong and Marcus Chow

The purpose of this research was to test the best flops/watt/price of 3 different kinds of GPUs. We used a raspberry pi zero, raspberry pi 3, and a Nvidia developer kit.

My task in this research was to setup and test the Nvidia Developer kit and use CUDA programming to help determine the flop/s for the Developer kit.

Research was cut short due to Covid 19 and the school shutting down the on campus research
