United States Capitol Police, Washington D.C.

Police Officer- Top Secret Clearance April 2016 – Present Command Center Unit

Provides technical support to USCP operates and implements response and recovery plans, prioritizing the allocation of resources and personal during critical incidents.

Receives and disseminates important information to high-ranking Department personnel, the congressional community, and outside agencies that support USCP operations. Assists units in the field with oversight in the response to critical incidents and events.

Identifies threats and patterns of threat activity in an effort to minimize risk to ongoing operations affecting the Legislative Branch of the Federal Government to ensure Continuity of Congress, Continuity of Government and the Continuity of Operations.

Researches and analyses threats and intelligence information utilizing various databases and open source information.

Monitors multiple emergency communication devices, camera and airspace systems. Receives information from the field and other elements and ensured it is processed and disseminated.

Utilize a variety of notification/communications systems, such as electronic mail, SMS text, Desktop, and telephone through a public address and annunciators system, to deliver emergency notification messages to the congressional community and others located within the Capitol Complex.

Tracks and monitors the movement of Congressional Leadership to ensure safety during critical incidents and threats.

Collaborating with partner agencies to ensure the success of day to day operations and well as critical incident operations.

Interagency Airspace Liaison

Works with National Capitol Region surrounding agencies to enforce airspace rules, regulations, and violations.

Proficient in multiple airspace radars to track flights, to determine their threat level, aircraft information to include, size, registration, and destination, as well as time and distance to the U.S. Capitol for evacuation measures.

Assisted in the creation of training documents for the implementation of new certifications for the Air Security Section.

United States Senate Chamber Unit

Responsible for the ingress and egress of the U.S. Senate Chamber.

Provided physical security measures for entrance into the Senate Chamber.

Possesses knowledge of all of the evacuation procedures and routes for critical incidents for Continuity of Congress.

First Responders Unit

Responsible for the first line defense of the out most perimeter of the United States Capitol Building, help with perimeter checks, security checkpoints, and escorts for arrivals of the President, Vice President, Head of States and Diplomatic VIPs.

Physical Security Screening Specialist: Properly trained on the use of X-ray and itemizer machines. Proper ability to seek out duress, buried cable, intrusion, and security welfare check alarms.

CPR/AED and first aid (infant and adult) certified. Civil Disturbance Unit
