development for data extraction, transformation and loading into relational oracle tables from Data warehouse using Informatica. The goal is to be in sync with Data formats used by Policy Center Guidewire and improve the performance of the existing system. Complex transformations based on business requirements were captured, designed and developed as part of project.

Responsibilities:

Project: Oracle Insbridge Rating Engine

Description: Nationwide has embarked on a P & C Personal lines transformation program (PLT). One of the goals of transformation is about bringing in business agility. As a first step, business rules are to be externalized from IT systems into BRMS components. Business rules are extracted, cleansed, classified and rationalized into BRMS components and make them business manageable. TCS has started the process of rule extraction through Property Rules Extraction (PRE) and Auto Rules Extraction (ARE) project. In the goal state the extracted rules will be authored in the BRMS engines. For Rating rules and specifications, the Oracle Insbridge Rating engine has been selected.

Responsibilities:

Analyze the structural flow of the rating rules.

To author the rating program in Insbridge tool.

To test the authored programs using the test data from the production (Unit testing).

To support the testing team in closing the defects in system testing phase.

Status reporting to Onsite coordinator.
