Design and Fabrication of a FCV using electromagnetic actuation August 2018 – May 2019

- Developed a unique type of Flow Control Valve (FCV) with a solenoid actuator which controls the flow rate of the fluid.

- Designed a valve made up of single piece casting actuated by proportional solenoid actuator which rotates the obturator in steps of three 30º turns

- Reduced the overall leakage by 15% as compared to the conventional design

- Rendered a remotely controlled model of the FCV

Design and Fabrication of an Agricultural Foot Pump August 2017 – May 2018

- Designed a compact portable light weight sprayer that uses a body weight mechanism to dispense pesticides without an external energy supply

- Responsible for the design and manufacture of a bulb pump which is attached to the tank using PVC pipes, in the sole of the shoes.
