WORK EXPERIENCE
November 2017 to date: Works as a graduate engineer in Egis Kenya ltd on the construction of
Second carriageway of the Athi River/Machakos turnoff
Section (A109) under KeNHA.
Duties and Responsibilities
Supervision of the cut and fill material, in general supervision of the earth works.
Supervision of the laying of the pavement layers( GCS, DBM, AC).
Supervision of the construction of the bridges and the culverts, in general supervision of the concrete works.
Supervision of the pre-casting works such as pre-stressed reinforced beams and earthed panels.
Attending any other work assigned by the engineer.
June 2016 - May 2017: Worked as a graduate civil engineer at Standard Gauge Railway,
Nairobi, at China Road and Bridge Corporation Company (CRBC).
Duties and Responsibilities
Designing and detailing using Auto CAD and Arch CAD.
Production of the bar bending schedule for different structures.
Supervision of the reinforcement of the slab and the structural members of the Nairobi terminal building.
Supervision of the roofing of the Nairobi terminal building.
Supervision of the masonry work in the construction of the several buildings in the ICD (inland container deport).
Site visits and report writing.
