The Enterprise Data Ingestion team processes data in various formats based on the source. In most cases, data is landed on an edge node and processed as a flat file. In other cases, data is ingested into EDP using a direct connection from a source database. While most data sources are from within the organization, certain source to EDP via external sources such as third parties. The EDI team processes data in various formats based on the source.
