ACADEMIC PROJECT

PROJECT TITLE: Hydrodynamic Characteristics of Three Phase Fluidized Bed Reactor. DESCRIPTION: The Hydrodynamic study of a gas-liquid solid fluidized bed with liquid as continuous phase have been taken up for better understanding of the bed behaviour, with respect to operating variables such as pressure drop, porosity, gas holdup and liquid hold up. The outcome of the investigations may be useful in the design and operation of the three phase fluidized bed reactor, recommended for chemical reactions with better performance and also better understanding of a complex fluid-solid contacting technique in industrial applications.
