BUSINESS OWNER AND SOLE PROPRIETOR AMERICAN DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION – 1981-Present

Frequent experience in collaborating design and building with architects and engineers. Experience in marketing – estimating/contracting/planning/developing project proposals then building. Thirty years experience in researching and completing historic renovation in accordance with building codes and CHAP guidelines. Saved more than 15 condemned buildings in Baltimore City from demolition, including the historic 6,000 square foot Turnbull Mansion from circa 1842. Experience with human resources and personnel management of crews of 35 persons. General contractor with design and purchasing responsibilities. Contracted by Baltimore Museum of Ceramic Art to install ceramic murals on Baltimore City markets.
