Mainframe Senior Developer (ALL STATE)

Allstate ESS application is Premium and Claim processing system, it processes data from different claim processing systems and consolidate them in a single detail and summary file, detail and summary file goes to downstream team for further processing and calculates Net, Gross, cancelled and In-force premium and exposures, it identifies the direct and reinsurance premiums. Cycle weekly and monthly process performs cost management depending on policy numbers. Claim case reserves and supplement reserve calculated by claim cycle. Case reserve is the amount set aside for future losses. Claim cycle performs below tasks:

Process Case Claim Reserves.

Develops Supplemental (Developmental) Claim Reserves.

Develops IBNR (Incurred but Not reported claims).

Develops potential subrogation and salvage.

Develops Loss/Expense Split for reserves.

Process responsibilities:

Work with business to gather the requirements for business requests, and providing input to generate requirement solution and high-level specification documents.

Mainframe Senior Developer(HUMANA CAS)

The Claims Adjudication System (CAS) is a Mainframe application where claims are processed and housed for historical reference. It is also used to interpret claims processing and to respond to customer inquiries regarding claims processing. CAS recognizes information that is incorrect or inconsistent. This information is highlighted and / or edit messages are given. This allows the Claims Adjuster to identify and correct problems prior to finalizing the claim. Calculates payments based upon each Group Health Contract and automatically subtracts appropriate deductible or copayment amounts and applies correct benefit percentages. Applies discounts based upon each Participating Provider Contract. Prints appropriate checks, vouchers, form letters and reports. Once Providers provide a service to Humana's Subscribers, the expenses incurred are recovered through Claims submitted to Humana. CAS monitors the processing and payment of Claims submitted by Provider(s). The Claims are paid off after adjudication. All information about subscribers/dependents and providers is maintained by CAS.

Mainframe Developer(DTNA)

DTNA systems are currently not set up to Invoice the Canadian dealers in US dollar currency. The inability to provide this service prevents certain Canadian dealers with closer ties to US customers from purchasing vehicles from DTNA. This project will modify the existing DTNA Sales & Finance systems to invoice Canadian dealers in US dollar currency. This project aims at providing this functionality for all Canadian dealers, across all truck models and brands, and for all approved US customers.

This functionality will provide the Canadian dealers ability to deal in US dollars thereby increasing their business prospects and thereby increasing the revenue for DTNA as a whole. This project aims to have this functionality automated as the manual process is a bit complex and time consuming, also prone to errors.

Process responsibilities:

Interaction with Client, involved in system knowledge transfer in earliest planning to know how system is working.

Involved in Requirement gathering and Analysis, co-ordinate with client and documents the requirement.

Mercedes-Benz USA (MBUSA), is responsible for the distribution, marketing and customer service for all Mercedes-Benz products in the United States, IVIS (Integrated VPC information system) is a system use to track a vehicle from the time when shipping transmission is received through processing at the VPC and shipment to the dealer. Information captured at the VPC includes damage codes, repair information, modification, parts and labor costs etc. these all are maintained by IVIS system.
