Senior Plant Project Engineer Tyler/Union, Division of McWane, Inc. (Feb.2017 – March 2021)

Provided engineering support and design solutions to assist with improving the overall plant site safety, operational efficiency, and operational reliability in the manufacturing process of an OEM of large diameter cast ductile iron pipe fittings. Primary scope of responsibilities and duties involved the following: maintaining a safe work environment, project management, field investigations, engineering design, CAD layouts, fabrication details, assembly details, installation drawings, project scopes, specifications, project budgets, quotes, justifications, office management of invoices & purchase orders, vendor sourcing, component sourcing, scheduling, and project management and oversite during the installation commissioning and validation phase. Provided Regional Project Management and Engineering support and solutions to assist with improving plant site safety, operational efficiency, equipment and process reliability, and operational regulatory compliance with the production of bagged dry concrete product plant sites and facilities throughout Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, and Missouri. Cooperatively manage national, regional, and local plant site repair and improvement projects with the different levels of vested interests. Senior Regional Project Management Engineer, APAC KC Division, (Oct.2010 - Feb. 2013) Provided Regional Engineering support and solutions to assist with improving the plant site operational safety, efficiency, and reliability for multiple aggregate production sand and gravel surface mining sites and limestone quarry rock crushing plant sites in Eastern Kansas and Western Missouri. Scope of responsibilities and activities included providing mechanical engineering, field investigation, design, cad layout, fabrication details, assembly details, installation drawings, office management of invoices & purchase orders, vendor sourcing, component sourcing, scheduling, and project management and oversight during the installation and commissioning phase. The type of projects and equipment included the following: The installation of Hydraulic Boom and Rock Jam Breaker Systems onto existing Rock Crusher Units, the installation of safety swing gates onto existing equipment throughout the region, the installation of a truck wheel wash system, the design and installation of a ditch rock production system addition on a primary surge hopper, and a re-design and relocation project for an AB #3 Base Rock Conveyor/Pugmill system that significantly stream line and improved the efficiency of the process.
