Identified the most vulnerable children i.e. the orphans to be enrolled in the program and always gave them the psychosocial help.
Mobilized and sensitized project beneficiaries on formation and management of small saving and credit associations (SACCOs) and encouraged them to make regular contributions.
Supported farmer field schools in the implementation, monitoring and evaluation of Community Managed Disaster Risk Reduction projects/ enterprises e.g. vegetable growing, kitchen gardening, cassava multiplication, ox traction and fruit farming among others.
Sensitized beneficiaries on development issues such as: Food security, hygiene and sanitation, HIV/AIDS, Gender and rights-based approaches, Climate Change Adaptation/ Environment conservation.
