Previous Jobs
I worked at amazon in rugely for a year and I was a stower and a picker. My role as a stower was to unload carts of items they use to give me and put them onto the shelf’s. This taught me how to organise things really well because you always had to find space for big items. My role as a picker was much different to a stower because you had to be more energetic because you had to collect the items that the customers had ordered and you had to pick up the item within a certain amount of time that was set. Working at amazon improved me as a worker and a person because the job was very demanding and fast paced.
Education
September 2015-2018
Sandwell college,
Qualifications Achieved:
City & Guilds Body & repair level 2
City & Guilds Paint refinishing level 2
HOBBIES AND INTERESTS
My main hobbies and interests are working out from home, playing football and trying new foods.
In 2014, I was selected to be a part of a leadership programme which took place at the KPMG building near the city centre. It was led by Errol Lawson, a pastor and the author of the book “From The Postcode to The Globe”. The programme occurred every Thursday and Wednesday over a period of weeks. Within this programme, I had developed great leadership skills along with fellow students who were also selected for the programme. We viewed videos and shared inspirational stories of which indicated where good leadership was projected. We had discussions and often debates about decision making in particular scenarios, sharing ideas and stating the actions we’d take in approach to the situation. Overall, I found this experience very useful as it widened my perspective of things and allowed me to hear and understand the perspectives of others. Additionally, it improved my communication and leadership skills
