Job Position: Electrical Site Engineer

Project Name: The President’s Stadium, Railway Stations, Roads and Bridges.

Duties:

•Design Electrical site engineers design the main power systems that feed commercial buildings and offices as well as the distribution circuits to each unit.

•Ensuring that every electrical device or circuit installed meets the National Electric Code.

•Testing the electrical system

Position: Electromechanical Engineer at Moi International Airport .

Duties:

Plan, direct, and coordinate activities concerned with design, construction, modification, and maintenance of equipment and machinery in industrial plant which entails establishing standards and policies for pollution control, installation, modification, quality control, testing, operating procedure, inspection, and maintenance of equipment, according to engineering principles and safety regulations.

Perform regular audit on all safety control programs.

Design efficient training programs and prepare all short and long term programs and ensure achievement of all objectives with required budget.

Prepare an efficient schedule for all production operations and assist in installation and maintenance of all machines and tools.

Collaborate with various departments to maintain mechanical integrity of all plant programs.

Test newly installed machines and equipment to ensure fulfillment of contract specifications

Administer all activities and assist in manufacturing of all new products and recommend improvements to existing products.

Design all preventive maintenance programs in coordination with maintenance and engineering staff.

Duties:

Review, study and understand the contractors’ construction methodology with regards to electrical installation works.

Liaise and co-ordinate between the site contracting teams, the construction manager, engineers and the clients’ representative to ensure problems are solved quickly and proactively.

Design, install, test and commission HVAC System

Attend weekly construction meetings with contractors as construction and/or electrical representative.

Supervise Fiber optic communication installation and troubleshooting.

Inspect Installation of programming logic controllers in oil pump stations.

Observe and inspect the work performed by electrical contractors on site, ensuring building compliance as per drawings, specs, electrical safety and electrical code.

Review all site based QCP’s related to electrical work.

Ensure contractors produce and deliver the necessary data books and/or documentation as required under contract.

Carry out daily quality inspections of all electrical related work.

Assist in driving contractors to complete punch lists and closeout of NCR’s by contractors.

Complete and submit daily paperwork for site activities performed during inspection.

Assist the planning department with construction input, analyze rate of progress and quantity of resources against available time.

Ensure Safety requirements, Quality and Environmental procedures are met, completed and compiled in QA/QC during construction work.
